Kingsport is nestled between the Appalachian Mountains and the Great Smokey Mountains in the northeastern section of the state of Tennessee and less than 10 miles from the southwestern section of the state of Virginia. Kingsport is approximately 100 miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee.
